We Adapted - And Stared Right Into The Eyes of The Unknown. We Faced Our Fears. We Realized Life’s Fragility. We Became More INTENTIONAL With Our Time & Began To Understand What It Means To REALLY LIVE LIFE AND BE PRESENT. We Began To Do Our Best To Be Better Friends. We Learned To Open Our Hearts and LISTEN More. We Held On To Others A Lot Tighter Than Before. We Looked Within. We Stood Up For Others Instead of Turning A Blind Eye. We Checked Our Own White Privilege. We Opened Our Homes To Those Who Lost Everything. Our Communities Became More Neighborly. We Sheltered Those Without Heat, Those Without Power, Those Who Were Worn Down and Simply Needed Our Presence. Faith. Family. Friends. Perseverance. Forgiveness. Compassion. Love. Unity. Creating. Facing Our Crippling Fears & Anxieties. Learning We Couldn’t Get Through The Last 2 Years Alone…. If you are still HERE…. Don’t take it for granted. We only get one shot at this fleeting life. Just know that you are never alone…. And you are SO LOVED. You have a purpose - even if you feel like you haven’t found that yet. You are an immeasurable light in the world. You are a part of me - of US - and this song… it’s FOR YOU. You Are Not Allowed To Quit. Ever. But when you forget…. I pray this song finds you…. And I pray it serves as a reminder that you can get through ANYTHING. After all… you’re still here. And that breath you are breathing right now.. that’s a GIFT… and making tomorrow even better than today is possible.
